Aquor Water Systems is reinventing the way people access water outdoors, with a mission to design and manufacture the world’s most innovative, efficient, and well-engineered water valves.

Aquor partnered with Anvil Studios to create the Aquor Comfort Grip Hose Connector, the first product introducing Aquor’s new design vision.

Aquor’s Hydrant replaces the traditional spigot with a valve system that’s embedded inside the wall, protecting pipes from freezing while presenting a sleek exterior look. Simply plug the hose connector into the hydrant to open the inner valve and engage water flow. The Comfort Grip Hose Connector is compatible with standard 3/4” garden hose threads and features a new design language with elevated aesthetics, usability, and durability.

The high-level design objective was to enhance the look and feel of Aquor’s product line and brand while improving ease of use and comfort, increasing longevity, and maintaining cost-effective manufacturing.

A fluid yet minimalist design approach illustrates a smooth form, gracefully highlighting the functionality of each element. Each “branch” is intentionally surfaced to flow gracefully into one another.

The vacuum breaker cap is integrated into the body’s geometry to better prevent accidental breakage. Overmold material is used only where it is needed—on the main hand-grip region for comfort and no–slip contact—reducing additional manufacturing costs. Color creates a branded moment and indicates a call to action; the knob is accented in Aquor’s signature bright blue. This bold color application also helps the user easily locate the connector among the greens and browns of the natural environment.

The result is a beautiful design that fits in seamlessly within modern domestic architecture—a prominent market for this innovative brand.
